Gov. DeSantis announces visit to Bradenton today for a news conference

Gov. Ron DeSantis is visiting Bradenton today to hold a press conference at a local college, his office said in an alert to media early Tuesday morning.
He is scheduled to visit the State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota at 10 a.m. The event is not open to the public.
State University System of Florida Chancellor Ray Rodrigues is also listed as a speaker.
It’s unclear what the news conference is about, but the governor and other state lawmakers have been announcing budget and legislative priorities ahead of the next session in March.
DeSantis’ office said the Bradenton visit “will be live-streamed as internet connection allows and/or uploaded to” the following social media pages:
