Less than one week after announcing 11 assistant principal changes, the School District of Manatee County has reported more than a half a dozen other leadership changes.

Monday’s news release included three people who were promoted to the role of assistant principal in Manatee County:

  • Craig Page, a dean at Braden River High School since 2019, will become an assistant principal at Southeast High School, 1200 37th Ave. E., Bradenton.
  • Laura Gonzales, a dean at Palmetto High School since 2018, will serve as an assistant principal at Braden River High School, 6545 State Road 70 E., Bradenton.
  • Kali Anges, an assistant principal at Anclote High in Pasco County since 2017, will work as an assistant principal at Louise R. Johnson K-8 School, 2121 26th Ave. E., Bradenton.

The announcement also included four assistant principals who are transferring to new schools:

  • Jillian Bieber will join Parrish Community High School, 7505 Fort Hamer Road, Parrish, as its next assistant principal. Bieber is currently an assistant principal at Lakewood Ranch High, a job she started in 2019.
  • Travis Cochran will make the move to Manatee High School, 902 33rd St. Court W., Bradenton, and work as the school’s newest assistant principal. Cochran now works at Braden River High as an assistant principal, a role he started in 2017.
  • Kathleen Brown will assume the role of assistant principal for Palmetto High School, 1200 17th St. W., Palmetto. Brown has worked as an assistant principal at Manatee High since 2016.
  • Irene Nikitopoulos, an assistant principal at Louise R. Johnson K-8 since 2019, will become assistant principal at Lincoln (the school formerly known as Lincoln Memorial Academy), 305 17th St. E., Palmetto.

All of the changes were pending school board approval as of Monday. With an OK from the board, the positions will take effect on July 1.
