Early morning shooting into occupied home near Palmetto results in no injuries
PALMETTO -- At about 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of 28th Avenue East, the occupants of an apartment awoke to sounds of a window breaking.
Inspection of the residence discovered a projectile that had gone through the living room window, according to a report from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The living room was unoccupied at the time of the shooting and the investigation continues.
