Timeline in Andres Avalos triple murder case
The arrest report for triple murder suspect Andres "Andy" Avalos was released Monday morning, describing how detectives say Avalos killed his wife, Amber Avalos, neighbor Denise Potter and the Rev. James "Tripp" Battle.
First, Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies found the body of Battle at Bayshore Baptist Church, 6502 14th St. W. He had been shot to death.
Soon after, they found the bodies of the women at the Avaloses' residence in the 1200 block of 67th Street NW. Potter had been shot several times.
The body of Amber Avalos was found hanging by a cord. She also had been beaten and shot, according to the sheriff's office.
