Car burglaries hit East Manatee neighborhood

Someone overnight broke into four unlocked vehicles in an East Manatee neighborhood, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The break-ins, in the 4900 block of 79th Avenue Drive East, in the Palm-Aire neighborhood, happened between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 7:15 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release.
