Stolen front-end loader is recovered after theft

Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is looking for clues to who stole a front loader from a local construction site.

Late Sunday or early Monday, someone took a Caterpillar 950K front loader from the construction zone at the interchange of Interstate 275 and U.S. 41, according to a news release.

The construction machine was later found at 7500 Bishop Harbor Road.

“At this time there are no known suspects or eyewitnesses to the crime,” the release states. “The front-end loader ... is in the process of being recovered.”
