Bradenton police hunt for bank robbery suspect

Bradenton police detectives have identified the suspect in the May 28 Chase Bank robbery as Ray W. Frierson of Bradenton.

He is still at-large and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to a police press release.

Frierson, 48, is described as 6-foot, between 150 and 165 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and missing some top and bottom teeth.

A Manatee County judge has signed a warrant for his arrest charging him with armed robbery, according to police.

During the robbery, Frierson implied to bank employees he had a gun but never showed it. Police have released security camera footage of the robbery.

Frierson may have a gun and is said to frequent drug areas throughout Manatee County, police said.

If you see Frierson or know where he is, call 911 or the Bradenton Police Department at 941-932-9300.
