Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office searches for missing Sarasota boy, 13

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 13-year-old boy from Sarasota.

Carlos Adrian Montoya was last seen around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at a rest area near mile marker 235 on northbound Interstate 75 near Ruskin in Hillsborough County, according to a release. The sheriff’s office said foul play is not suspected.

Carlos was last seen wearing jeans and a dark sweatshirt and carrying a dark-colored guitar case.

Anyone with information on Carlos is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately, the sheriff’s office said.
