Female stabbed to death in Sarasota
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal stabbing in the 2300 block of 20th Street in Sarasota at 1:40 p.m. Friday.
A male suspect was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with injuries.
There were two females in the home. One suffered injuries, the other was deceased, said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Kaitlyn Johnston in a news release.
