Man mugged in Bradenton

A 43-year-old man was mugged Just after midnight Tuesday while walking down a Bradenton street, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was walking in the 200 block of 59th Avenue East when two men approached from behind. One assailant placed what felt like a knife into the victim’s back and demanded his wallet, according to a news release.

The victim handed him the wallet, and the robbers ran south, according to the sheriff’s office.
