Bradenton woman charged with stabbing other woman with scissors during fight

MANATEE -- A confrontation between several women Friday morning led to one stabbing another with a pair of scissors, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 9:10 a.m., Bradenton police called the Manatee County Sheriff's Office after the 29-year-old stabbing victim was brought to Manatee Memorial Hospital by a relative, according to a news release. Deputies and detectives responded to the 2700 block of Ninth Street East where the stabbing reportedly occurred.

The investigation revealed there had been a confrontation between several women, during which one stabbed another with the pair of scissors.

The victim is reported to be in stable condition, the sheriff's office said.

There have been no arrests, according to the sheriff's office, but the investigation remains on-going.
