Man shot outside Bradenton topless bar

MANATEE -- A man was grazed by gunfire while sitting in his vehicle outside a Bradenton topless bar early Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 2:25 a.m., deputies responded to reports a possible shooting at the Peek-A-Boo Lounge, 5412 14th St. W., and found the victim in his vehicle, according to a news release.

He had been grazed by a bullet, but he refused treatment by paramedics, according to the sheriff's office.

"According to witnesses, a verbal confrontation inside the the club may have led to the shooting," the report states.

No arrests have been made.
