2 arrested on drug charges in Sarasota
SARASOTA -- Two men were arrested on drug-related charges, after officers determined drugs were being sold out of a Sarasota residence, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
Officers Thursday raided a home in the 1100 block Cocoanut Avenue, where they found 29 grams of rock cocaine; 9.3 grams of marijuana; drug paraphernalia; and $2,155 in cash, according to a news release.
Arthur Brantley III, 37, who lives in the residence, was arrested on charged of trafficing 28-200 grams of cocaine; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A second man at the residence, Kishaun D. Pearson, 32, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
The investigation is continuing.
