Suspect arrested in shooting death of Palmetto man, 32
MANATEE -- A suspect has been arrested in connection with a 15-day-old homicide in Palmetto, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives arrested Xavier Seabrook, 19, of Palmetto, in connection with the fatal shooting of Linzell Feagin Jr.
Feagin Jr., 32, was discovered at 1 a.m. March 4 in the 1700 block of U.S. 41 N., Palmetto, with a gunshot wound, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Feagin was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Deputies determined the shooting took place in the 2100 block of Third Avenue East, Palmetto.
At the time, detectives reported they do not believe this was a random incident.
Subsequent investigation identified Seabrook as a suspect and he was arrested Friday night and charged with murder. The shooting appears to have been drug related.
