Severely malnourished dog found in Bradenton field dies while en route to medical treatment
MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has reported an animal cruelty/neglect case involving a severely malnourished dog that died while en route to seek medical treatment after being placed in a field.
At 7:45 a.m. Monday, a 32-year-old woman contacted authorities about a severely malnourished dog. According to a release, the dog was placed in a field in the 1600 block of 26th Avenue East.
The dog died while in route to seek medical treatment, the release states.
