Marijuana deal ends in gunshot to seller's shoulder

MANATEE -- A 34-year-old man selling marijuana in the 3600 block of U.S. 301 was shot by a buyer at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The victim reportedly told authorities he was shot while attempting to sell marijuana to the suspects and drove himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

The victim's injuries are non-life threatening.
