Sarasota sheriff releases security video of voyeurism suspect
SARASOTA -- The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office on Friday released surveillance footage of a man deputies say took pictures up a woman's skirt at an antique store in Sarasota on Wednesday.
"The 46-year-old victim was shopping at Bon Bon Vintage in the 3000 block of Tuttle Avenue around 11:15 a.m., when the suspect ... started to engage her in conversation," a news release states. "The suspect continued to talk to and follow the woman throughout the store. When she became suspicious, the woman turned around to find the man crouched down behind her taking photos. When she confronted him, the man fled the store.
"Surveillance video shows the suspect walking through the business with his cell phone in hand. He wore a light blue button-down shirt, khaki shorts and deck shoes."
