Hernando sheriff searching for man wanted on three felony warrants

HERNANDO -- Detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office are searching for a man wanted on several felony warrants.

David Deine Sr., 41, was last seen on Feb. 25 in the area of Spring Hill in Hernando County, according to a release. Deine is wanted on the following felony warrants: sexual battery with physical force; battery/strangulation; and sexual battery (victim over 12).

According to deputies, Deine is reportedly driving a 2007 blue Suzuki Forenza, with Florida tag/GEED86. He is described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds with brown eyes. Deputies did not have a description for his clothes.

The sheriff's office said Deine has associates and family members that he may be traveling Miami, New York, California or Puerto Rico.
