15 at Manatee stores charged with selling alcohol to minors
MANATEE -- Employees at 15 convenience stores and gas stations in Manatee County have been charged with selling alcohol to underage people during an undercover operation Saturday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
"Two underage confidential informants were utilized to purchasealcohol from convenience stores and gas stations throughout the county," a news release states. "During this operation 63 stores were checked. Clerks at 15 of those locations were charged with selling alcohol to a person under 21 and were issued a notice to appear."
The sheriff's office said violations were found at these stores:

-- Walgreens, 4220 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
-- Sunoco, 4630 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
-- 7-Eleven 5900 Manatee Ave, W., Bradenton.
-- Marathon/Gas Kwick 6620 Manatee Ave., Bradenton.
-- Sandra Express 7105 15th Ave. NW, Bradenton.
-- 7-Eleven 8604 Cortez Road W., Bradenton.
-- 7-Eleven, 2011 Cortez Road W., Bradenton.
-- Skyway Food Mart 1808 Cortez Road. W., Bradenton.
-- Marathon 8003 US 301 N., Parrish.
-- Uppy's Shell Station 7219 US 41 N., Palmetto.
-- WaWa 14510 S.R. 70 E., Bradenton.
-- Speedway 8604 S.R. 70 E., Bradenton.
-- 7-Eleven 5914 S.R. 70 E., Bradenton.
