West Bradenton car burglaries under investigation
WEST BRADENTON -- Efforts continue to catch those responsible for a vehicle burglaries at the San Remo Shores subdivision along Palma Sola Bay, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Early Sunday morning, deputies responded to a residence in the 3600 block of Royal Palm Drive at about 4 a.m. to investigate a vehicle burglary that had just occurred.
Deputies established a perimeter and unsuccessfully searched the area with a police canine. During the investigation, deputies determined that between 4 a.m. and 4:46 a.m., four unlocked vehicles along the same street had been burglarized.
Three of the vehicles were at one residence in the 4200 block of Royal Palm Drive.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff's department.
