Bradenton woman in 'jealous rage' bites boyfriend's lip, causing 1-inch hole
MANATEE -- A Bradenton woman has been charged with biting her boyfriend's lip and creating a 1-inch hole, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Brandy Jean Toth, 42, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Friday in the 3900 block of 52nd Street West.
A boyfriend of more than two years said an argument turned physical when Toth entered the house in a jealous rage, accusing him of loving another woman.
Deputies said Toth kissed her boyfriend while standing in the kitchen and bit his lower lip and would not let go, causing a bleeding hole under the lower lip.
The victim reportedly said he pushed Toth away when she picked up a silver knife. The victim said he grabbed Toth's right hand, which led to her bite his left-index finger, drawing blood. The knife was dropped, according to the report.
Paramedics said the victim would likely need plastic surgery to repair his lip, according to the sheriff's office.
Another victim told deputies Toth banged on her carport door, asking to be let in because of a fight next door. Toth beat on the door until she broke the glass, then took off, deputies said. The cost to repair the window is $500, according to the victim.
Toth was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and criminal mischief causing property damage, according to the sheriff's office website. She was held in Manatee County jail on bonds totaling $4,500.
