In search, Manatee deputies seize drug paraphernalia, single morphine pill

MANATEE -- A small amount of drug paraphernalia and a single morphine pill was seized after a search warrant was executed Thursday morning at a Bradenton home, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The warrant was executed at 9:10 a.m. Thursday at at a residence in the 200 block of 42nd Street Northwest, Bradenton. Detectives have conducted an investigation at the residence over the last few months, according to a release.

Deputies said three males and one female were at the residence when the warrant was executed. No arrests were made.

During the course of the search, detectives reported seizing a small amount of drug paraphernalia, along with a single morphine pill, according to the release. Manatee County Code Enforcement was also present to inspect the residence while deputies were on scene. Code Enforcement condemned the residence, the release states.

Nobody was injured during this operation, the sheriff's office said.
