Police release video of $76,000 Ford F-450 truck being stolen from Sarasota dealership

SARASOTA -- The Sarasota Police Department released surveillance video footage Friday showing two people stealing a truck from a dealership.

The theft was caught Jan. 30 on camera at Sarasota Ford, police said.

In the video, thieves are seen using a white, flatbed truck to steal a Ford F-450 valued at $76,000 from the dealership at 707 S. Washington Ave.

One they load the truck onto the flatbed, they head westbound on Payne Parkway, police said.
