At least 1 hurt in MCAT bus crash in Bradenton

MANATEE -- At least one person suffered minor injuries in a vehicle crash with a Manatee County Area Transit bus, according to the Emergency Communications Center in Manatee County.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers received a call at 7:19 p.m. Thursday about the crash on the intersection of 14th Street West and 30th Avenue West.

"It was an MCAT bus," said FHP dispatcher Felipe Morcillo Thursday night.

FHP troopers arrived on scene at 7:38 p.m. and 30th Avenue West was temporarily blocked and later reopened.
