16-year-old shot in Bradenton garage; minor arrested
BRADENTON -- A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
The juvenile was shot in the garage of a residence in the 1000 block of Sixth Street East in Bradenton, according to the report.
Lt. James Racky, spokesman for the BPD, said the shooter was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm. They are not releasing his name now because he is a juvenile.
The victim was taken to Blake Medical Center and is in critical but stable condition.
