Man beaten, robbed of prescription pills outside Bradenton gas station

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is looking for three men who beat up and robbed a man of his prescription medications Tuesday morning.

The victim told deputies he was in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station at 5310 34th St. W. in Bradenton at 10 a.m. when three men confronted him, according to a release.

The three men beat the victim up and took his prescription medications. The victim had a friend take him to the hospital.

The victim reported the incident to deputies on Wednesday and had bruising on his face and hands.
