Bradenton man charged with throwing bucket of urine on girlfriend's clothes, punching her
MANATEE -- A man was arrested Wednesday after he threw urine on his girlfriend's clothes and punched her in the face, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The victim was walking out of their shared home in the 400 block of 59th Avenue Terrace West and Jason Henry Murray followed her to another residence, according to an arrest report. The two started to argue at the home and Murray grabbed her neck and hair lifted her out of a recliner.
People in the residence separated the two and convinced Murray to leave, deputies said.
The victim later went home with a friend and found out Murray had thrown her clothes outside and dumped a "bucket of urine" on them, according to the report.
The victim told Murray she was calling law enforcement and he responded, "then I'll make it worth it," and punched her in the face twice, deputies said. He then pushed her away and went back inside the residence.
Deputies arrived on scene and observed minor bruising to the victim's face.
Murray was charged with domestic battery, and was being held without bond at the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
