Palmetto man reported missing
MANATEE -- A 25-year-old Palmetto man suffering from depression and suicidal tendencies has been reported missing, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Samuel J. Ralston was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when he went to bed in his home in the 4600 block of Arlington Road in Palmetto and everything appeared OK, according to a news release. Family members said they realized at 6:30 a.m. that Ralston had left in a silver, four-door 2000 Nissan Altima with Indiana tag UMK681 at some point in the night and headed in an unknown direction.
"Samuel's departure was unexpected and evidence suggests that he may be a threat to himself," the sheriff's office said in the release.
Phone records show that at about 2 a.m. Ralston may have been in the area of the 3800 block of Gulf Boulevard in St. Petersburg. His current location and condition are unknown.
Anyone who has seen or located Ralston can call their local law enforcement agency or the Manatee County Sheriff Office at 941-747-3011.
