Bradenton police report string of home burglaries

BRADENTON -- The Bradenton Police Department has reported three burglaries in unoccupied residences.

According to a watch commander report, the three separate incidents took place between 8:37 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Sunday, The first incident took place in the 2500 block 8th Avenue East. During that incident, police said someone broke a sliding glass door and gained entry into the unoccupied residence.

Police said the second incident happened at a home in the 600 block of 24th Street East. According to the report, two unknown male subjects broke a window and gained entry into an unoccupied residence. A K-9 unit tracked the area to no avail, according to the report.

According to police, the third burglary took place in the 500 block of 21st Avenue West when unknown subjects kicked in the front door and gained entry into an unoccupied residence,
