Man shot to death in Bradenton parking lot

MANATEE -- A 31-year-old man was shot to death in a Bradenton parking lot Saturday evening, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. Deputies are looking for two possible suspects

About 6:40 p.m., Charles Lehnert was walking through the parking lot of lawn equipment provider Gravely of Bradenton, 5732 15th St. E., when he got into a physical confrontation and was shot and killed, according to a news release.

Early Sunday, the sheriff's office released photos of two possible suspects and their vehicle, a red SUV.

Lehnert's death was the third homicide in less than a week in Manatee County, and the sixth so far in 2016.
