Bradenton man arrested after wife treated for stab wounds at Lakewood Ranch Hospital

MANATEE -- A husband was arrested at 12:38 a.m. Saturday and charged with stabbing his wife, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies reported they were at Lakewood Ranch Hospital with a victim of a stabbing in city jurisdiction.

Police arrested Tony Harris without incident at a residence in the 700 block of 51st Street East. Harris reportedly stabbed his wife with a butcher knife in the shower, leaving a three to four inch stab mark on her chest.

The victim is in stable condition.
