Deputies find more than 4 kilograms of methamphetamine in raid on Bradenton apartment
MANATEE -- A Bradenton man has been charged with holding a large quantity of methamphetamine after narcotics, guns and $9,000 were seized at 11:50 a.m. Saturday from his home, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Victorino Gomez, 25, was arrested in Polk County during a narcotics investigation. Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff's Office notified the Manatee County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Division when they learned he lives in Bradenton.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office searched Gomez's home in the 1000 block of 35th Avenue West in Bradenton and found 4.3 kilograms of methamphetnes, 0.2 grams of cocaine, 0.2 grams of Xanax, and 0.1 grams of Dilaudid, $9,000, .32-caliber and .45-caliber handguns and ammunition.
Alexis Hernandez, 50, who was staying with Gomez, was also charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
The investigation is ongoing. Gomez was held in Polk County jail.
