Manatee County drug bust ends one-month probe

MANATEE -- Concluding a one-month investigation, Manatee County detectives arrested one man on drug charges.

Detectives with the Special Investigations Division investigated whether narcotics were being sold the past month from a residence at 416 27th Ave. W., Bradenton over the past month.

A search warrant was executed at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday with two males at home. A small amount of rock cocaine (0.9 grams), marijuana (1.5 grams), synthetic marijuana (4.9 grams), and drug paraphernalia were found.

Nobody was injured.

Raphael Houston, 25, was charged with possession of rock cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
