Manatee deputies report vehicle burglary trend

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office issued a release on a vehicle burglary trend.

According to the release, the incident occurred between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 8200 block of 62nd Court East and the 6100 block of Turnbury Park Drive. Deputies responded to the locations in reference to past vehicle burglaries.

"All of the vehicles were suspected to be unlocked," the release states.

Numerous items taken included an umbrella, currency, a computer, and gift cards that were worth an unknown amount, deputies said.

There are no known suspects at this time, according to the release.
