Manatee Sheriff: Suspect robs Quick Food Mart

MANATEE -- A suspect robbed a Quick Food Mart Tuesday evening, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 7:55 p.m., deputies said the suspect entered the store located at 5913 53rd Ave. E. and implied that he had a weapon.

According to a release, the suspect obtained currency and fled. Deputies have not located the suspect. There was no description of the suspect in the release.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff's office.
