MANATEE -- Authorities say a 12-year-old boy, who was taken by his father in a Manatee County domestic incident Saturday night and was reported missing and endangered, returned home Sunday night.

When deputies arrived in the 4500 block of 26th Street West after being called on a domestic situation, they learned Harlan Laroche Jr., 41, had been in a dispute with his mother and left the house with his son, Nathaniel Harlan Laroche, according to a sheriff's office report.

Harlan Laroche Jr. is wanted in connection with the domestic violence incident and remained at large Sunday night, the report states.

Laroche may be driving a black Kia sports utility vehicle with an unknown Indiana tag, according to the report.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office at 941-747-3011 or Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
