Five people robbed late Saturday on a Manatee County carport, sheriff's office reports
MANATEE -- Five persons were relaxing under their carport in the 100 block of 61st Avenue East about 11:20 p.m. Saturday when the two males with covered faces approached from the road, pointed pistols at them, and demanded their wallets, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.
One of the robbers pushed two of the victims to the ground and went through their pockets. The intruders took items and fled north from the car port.
The suspects were described as two younger males. The first suspect wore tan shorts and a white tank top. The second suspect was wearing a black sweater or sweat shirt and blue jeans. No one was injured during the robbery, MSO reported.
