Manatee man bewildered after his unoccupied vehicle shot

MANATEE -- Deputies are investigating a shooting into an unoccupied vehicle sometime between between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

A 24-year-old man reported his vehicle parked outside his home in the 5600 block of 15th Street Court East had been shot sometime, according to the release.

The rear window, lower left rear bumper and passenger side door were damaged, deputies reported.

The man told deputies said he had no idea who would shoot his vehicle.
