Holmes Beach man charged with yelling obscenities in Bradenton Beach
BRADENTON BEACH -- A Holmes Beach man was charged with disorderly conduct after police said he yelled obscenities as he walked down a crowded Bradenton Beach street, according to the Bradenton Beach Police Department.
Jack Scott Pritchard, 58, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Bridge Street. Witnesses said Pritchard was walking down the street screaming obscenities and using "very obscene and vulgar language in front of tourists with children."
According to the report, Pritchard resisted arrest by trying to pull away from officers. Once placed in handcuffs, police said he also resisted getting into the patrol vehicle.
Pritchard was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting without violence, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. He was held in Manatee County jail on bonds totaling $620.
