Missing Manatee County man located safe

MANATEE -- A 24-year-old man who had been reported missing has been located safe with the assistance of the Palmetto Police Department and is in the company of his pastor.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office had reached out to the public for assistance in finding Kendel Metzler who was last seen in the area of the Best Western, 2215 Cortez Road W., in Manatee County at 8 a.m. Sunday, according to a sheriff's office report.
