Man hospitalized after Bradenton stabbing

BRADENTON -- A man who stabbed twice in the back with a knife early Sunday was taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment.

Police identified the suspect in the 5:32 a.m. aggravated battery as the man's girlfriend. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of 20th Avenue West, Bradenton, according to a Bradenton Police Department report.

The suspect, whose name was not given, was arrested, the report states.

No condition of the victim was provided.
