East Bradenton man finds bullet hole in his windshield following New Year's celebrations
MANATEE -- An East Bradenton man reported finding a bullet hole at 7:24 p.m. Friday in the windshield of his car following New Year's celebrations, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The victim said he walked outside in the 1100 block of 53rd Avenue East in Bradenton and discovered a bullet hole in the windshield of his car, according to a news release.
The bullet had a downward trajectory consistent with being fired into the air then returning to land, Lt. Christine Thomason reported.
The victim reported hearing gunshots being fired along with fireworks as part of New Year's celebrations.
