Man reports being victim of armed robbery during drug deal outside Courtyard Marriott

UNIVERSITY PARKWAY -- A man reported being robbed by two men and a woman during a drug deal in front of the Courtyard Marriott near University Parkway, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 10 p.m. Friday, the victim reported to deputies he had been robbed during a drug deal outside a Courtyard Marriott, 8305 Tourist Center Drive, according to the news release.

The victim, who refused to cooperate with the investigation, received a minor scrape on his head, according to the report.
