Bradenton police investigate sexual battery on a minor by adult relative

BRADENTON -- Bradenton police are investigating a sexual battery case involving a minor by an adult relative.

At 7:04 p.m. Friday, a minor child reported having sex with an adult relative, according to the police report. Detectives and the Manatee County Sheriff's Office Child Protective Investigative Division responded to the home in the 2200 block of Fifth Avenue Drive East.

Police have issued a "be on the lookout" alert for the suspect. No other details were released.
