After receiving tips, Bradenton police trying to find man who left burrito with heroin-filled syringe at hospital

BRADENTON -- The public's help in identifying and finding a man who dropped off a burrito with a heroin-filled syringe inside at Blake Medical center, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

At 3:45 a.m. Nov. 3, a man arrived at Blake Medical Center to a visit a patient, but was not allowed to since visiting hours were over.

The man then handed the Blake employee a bag of food he said was for the patient. When the employee checked the food inside the bag, a syringe was found hidden inside a burrito.

The Bradenton Police Department was immediately called.

The liquid inside the syringe was tested by police with a field test kit, and it tested positive for the presence of heroin.

The man was said to be between 6 feet to 6 feet 4 inches tall, with a thin build and "bleach blonde" hair.
