Detectives investigate possible connection between 3 burglaries in Bradenton
BRADENTON -- Detectives are investigating three burglaries Tuesday in the same area of Bradenton, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
At 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a residential burglary alarm in the 2300 block of 31st Street West in Bradenton, according to a police report. When officers got there, they found the home had been burglarized.
At 9:27 a.m., a homeowner home from walking her dog found two people in her garage, according to the report. She confronted them and the burglars ran off. She then discovered missing items.
And 12:14 p.m., a 911 call was received from a witness who claimed two people entered their neighbor's home across the street in the 2200 block of 41st Street Court West.
When officers arrived, the two suspects ran but were soon found by police. The suspects reportedly had items from inside the home in their possession.
Detectives are working to determine if the three burglaries are connected.
