Bradenton police seek man who cashed counterfeit check at SunTrust Bank

MANATEE -- Bradenton police say they are looking for a man who cashed a counterfeit check at a Bradenton bank.

At 4:18 p.m. Sept. 4, the man cashed a counterfeit check at SunTrust Bank, 1001 3rd Ave. W., according to a news release. Investigators say the check was drawn against a SunTrust Bank business account in another name.

The suspect presented a Bahamian passport to bank tellers, the release stated. The man is also suspected of cashing another counterfeit check at a SunTrust branch in Sarasota, using the name Carl Golden.
