Bradenton police seeking two men as persons of interest in burglary
MANATEE -- Police are looking for two men said to be persons of interest in the burglary of a West Bradenton home and car, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Between 4 p.m. and 9:21 p.m. Saturday, a home in the 2500 block of 23rd Avenue West in Bradenton was burglarized, according to a news release. In addition to stealing from the house the burglars took the owner's black Mercedes from the driveway, which was later found by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office in the 5500 block of 18th Street East.
The investigation led detectives to two people seen on surveillance video a short distance away.
One is a man with blond hair in dreads and was seen wearing black slacks and a long sleeve black shirt or jacket. The other is a thin man with long dreads (black hair with possibly lighter color towards the ends) wearing prescription glasses and was seen wearing a dark shirt or sweatshirt. They were possibly driving in a white early 2000s Jaguar vehicle.
Both are only considered persons of interest.
