Early morning request for $1 turns into Bradenton robbery

BRADENTON -- A victim was approached at 3:51 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of 13th Avenue West and asked for $1, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

When the victim removed his wallet, the suspect snatched it and ran, according to the report.

A search for the strong-arm robbery suspect came up empty. The report cited a 20-minute delay in reporting.

No injuries were reported.
