Stolen car discovered ablaze in Bradenton

BRADENTON -- Bradenton police say a car reported stolen Dec. 1 was discovered early Sunday morning ablaze in the 900 block of Oak Street.

The vehicle, a silver 2011 Ford Taurus sedan, had been reported stolen out of Manatee County, according to a police report.

A fire inspector ruled the fire, which was reported at 1:58 a.m., was arson, and the investigation continues.
